Finn, not even 2, and working on his beatboxing skillz. Finn already has so many amazing qualities and I never get all braggy about my kids because I’m Scottish and that’s not how we roll. You’ll know we love you if we insult you or take the piss. We’re not big on compliments and such. But this kid is so awesome. Last night at a dinner party he totally made me look like supermama by saying, ever so articulately, “Excuse me, mommy, I want bread.” SERIOUSLY?!? I do not recall Aila speaking in such clear and polite sentences before she was 2.

My husband (aka the most inappropriate man in the universe) will look at Finn with so much pride and say “Finn, man, you are gonna get so much assssssssss!!!!” (His voice goes up really high when he says he ass part). It’s really kind of gross and hilarious. I guess Dads WANT their sons to get a lot of “ass.”

I prefer that I don’t have to think about Finn, my darling baby (HE’S STILL A BABY, DAMMIT!) son, being stolen away from me by some trollop! Oh, lord, he’s going to have a hard time bringing home a girl to me, poor little fella. Lucky he’s got his inappropriate Daddy to cheer him on.
